Many don’t want to consider making a Will – understandably. But without it you could be leaving behind financial ruin for the ones you love on top of their grief.
Here at J2M we endeavour to prevent this situation by providing advice and guidance to protect the things that are important to you. Whatever your age, if you have assets we advise you to consider making a Will for various reasons:
- If you have children, the need to make a Will relates to arrangements for those Children if one or both parents were to die.
- If you were to die without a Will, certain rules would dictate how your assets would be allocated, this may not coincide with your wishes.
- Unmarried couples who do not have a Will would not inherit from the other, so the death of one partner could cause serious financial problems during a time of grief for the other.
- It may be possible for you to reduce the amount of tax payable on the inheritance if advice is taken in advance and a Will is made.
At J2M we will guide you through the entire process and ensure you are given appropriate advice to ensure your will does everything you would want and need it to.
All wills can be written in the comfort of your own home or over the telephone, if preferred. Home visits are at no extra cost and can be out of work hours.
A more in depth will may be applicable to certain individuals, for example estate planning. Prices for these are available upon request.
The Financial Conduct Authority does not regulate will writing or tax advice
